People with a serious illness are often at risk of developing mouth problems. Common problems include a dry mouth and oral thrush which is a fungal infection. Other problems can include mouth ulcers or soreness as a result of chemotherapy.
Good mouth care can prevent some problems from developing, or prevent minor mouth problems from getting worse.
