Dotty Day
What’s the best way of celebrating the start of the Easter weekend?
By going Dotty for Dorothy House on April Fool’s Day!
Our annual Dotty Day is on Thursday 1st April 2010. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the Easter bank holiday weekend by having lots of fun and raising money for your local hospice.
The sky’s the limit on what Dotty and foolish activities you could do to fundraise on the silliest day of the year. How about paying to dress Dotty for the day; making Dotty cakes; having a games evening of Dotty games (Twister anyone?); guess the number of sweets in a jar or even put on a Dotty talent show? Every penny really does count! You can hold the event on Dotty Day itself or any day that week, whichever suits you.

Our fundraising team are here to support you all the way with ideas, resources and promotion of your event. Please find enclosed a poster to get you started. We will be only too pleased to send you balloons, stickers, posters and literature to help your event go with a bang.
We would be delighted if you would like to take part in our annual event. Please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01225 721480 or e-mail fundraising@dorothyhouse-hospice.org.uk to let us know your Dotty ideas so we can help you every step of the way!
