Orchestral highlights

Works by Beethoven, Dohnyani and Schubert will be on the programme this Saturday [3 July], when the Orchestra of St John’s Batheaston perform one of their regular concerts in support of Dorothy House Hospice Care. The concert will include Beethoven’s Overture and Finale to Prometheus, Dohnyani’s Konzertstuck for Cello and Orchestra, with soloist Linda Stocks, and Schubert’s Symphony No 6. The event at St John’s Church, Batheaston, starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 on the door; accompanied children free.
