We offer a range of courses and study days aimed at local health and social care staff via our annual programme which is delivered onsite here at the Hospice. Details of these events are listed on our education courses page.

Placements for Professionals

The Dorothy House education team arranges placements for professionals to learn about our services and care provision. Placements can be for any appropriate professional discipline. Some are arranged through local organisations and linked universities via our education department where you will find more detail.

The Library

Visiting professionals can use our reference library covering palliative care and related topics. Arrangement to borrow resources for limited periods of time should be made with the education team.

Conference Facilities

Dorothy House is the ideal venue for small conferences, meetings and training courses, with modern, fully-equipped rooms, on-site parking and stunning picturesque views. Details of these facilities can be found on our conference facilities page.
