Feel like doing something dotty for your local hospice? This year’s Dotty Day is on Friday 10 October – and it’s your chance to raise funds for Dorothy House in any dotty way you like: the only limit is your imagination.
Dorothy House community fundraiser Paula Smith said: “Dotty Day is a chance for our supporters to get really creative with fundraising ideas – you could get your class or workmates to pay to wear dotty clothes for the day, hold a sponsored Twister, dominoes or tiddley winks marathon, make and sell dotty fairy cakes, or guess the number of Smarties or Jelly Tots in a tube.
“You could also hold a competition for the greatest number of tiny objects you can pack into a mini Dotty Box: we can send out as many as you need for your event – just give us a call on (01225) 721480.”
Dotty Day fundraising packs will be available soon – so to request one, and to register your event, call Paula or Yvonne in fundraising on the number above, or email the fundraising team.
