For people who have lost a friend or a relative through suicide there is a nation-wide support organisation, Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide.
For people who are looking for emotional support to help cope with feelings of distress or despair including those which may lead to suicide, Samaritans have local branches throughout the UK. Their telephone help line is open 24 hours a day, and they also offer support by email, letter and face to face.
Winston's Wish is an organisation that supports bereaved children, including those bereaved through suicide.
