Donations

Clearing out your wardrobe? Getting rid of the contents of the attic? Bring all your good quality clothes, books, china, bric-a-brac, toys, home furnishings and jewellery to your local Dorothy House shop. Donations are always welcome.

We currently have 27 shops in the area selling donated goods.  In addition,  we also sell Christmas cards, calendars, diairies and a small selection of new goods.   We have 4 furniture shops in Bath, Chippenham, Melksham and Trowbridge who all offer a collection and delivery service. Volunteers

All our shops rely heavily on volunteers to staff them and without their time, energy and commitment, less money would be available for our free patient services.

We have vacancies in most of our shops and a variety of roles on offer in each of them. For a fun and rewarding experience please visit the volunteering pages.

E-Commerce

We now are successfully running a Dorothy House eBay shop along with selling books on Amazon and Abe.  This is an alternative income stream and allows us to maximise profits especially for specialised and niche items.
