Reaching out to those who need us

Dorothy House Trowbridge is an outreach centre providing a relaxed and informal drop-in and signposting service for anyone in the area affected by terminal illness. Our outreach service ensures we reach out to people, providing support to people who need us, closer to where they live.

The centre is open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm.


What?

The outreach centre houses one-to-one and group rooms, a studio for creative work, treatment rooms, meeting space and a café.

Some of our community professionals will be based at the centre full time but other teams will visit to offer new workshops, clinics and groups.



Wellbeing Workshops

This is a rolling programme of individual workshops for patients diagnosed with a life-threatening condition.

How to find us

Dorothy House Trowbridge is situated on the Bryer Ash business park, next to Trowbridge train station.  The centre can be easily reached on foot from the town centre, by train, by bus or by car. Parking is available in the dedicated parking spaces adjacent to the centre.

Please note: If you are using a Sat Nav system, the postcode BA14 8HE will direct you to the back entrance from where you have to walk some way to find Dorothy House Trowbridge.  In order to get to front entrance and Dorothy House parking area you should approach Bryer Ash Business Park from the entrance near Trowbridge Station.
