The education
department maintains a specialist palliative care
library of books, journals, videos, CDs, other resources
with internet access in the promotion of self-study
activity for staff, volunteers and local health and
social care professionals.
Approaching 1000 books held in stock covering palliative
care, bereavement, complementary therapies, research
and audit.
A resource file containing over 1200 catalogued articles.
Medical, nursing and other health and social care
journals � currently over 20 titles are available
to library users.
External users may use the library during normal office
hours for reference purposes only.
External participants on higher education and accredited
courses at Dorothy House are entitled to temporary
membership of the library on payment of a refundable
deposit.
