Knit One Help One

Drop into The Rising Sun on Winsley Road, Bradford on Avon, and you're just as likely to find the locals knitting as supping a pint. Customer Jo Park hit on a crafty idea for raising money for Dorothy House: producing a piece of knitting long enough to reach from the pub to Dorothy House - a total of 2 miles!

Knitters are being sponsored and the finished knitting will be made into blankets and scarves and raffled to raise more money. Landlady Liz Northeast syas that more knitters and welcome to join in and donations and wool and needles are still needed. If you would liek to help in any way, please call Liz on 01225 862354.
