Our Retail operation raises vital revenue for the Hospice. We have over 720 volunteers based in 27 shops and a resorting centre. We offer a range of roles, in a wide range of locations. So why not consider joining our team? Full training will be provided.

Tills and customer service/ first point of contact
Serve and assist customers.  Take due payment for goods and enter transaction into cash register. Sign up new Gift Aid donors.

Book Volunteers
Assist in the sorting, preparation and presentation of books donated for sale. Research valuable books for our online Amazon book shop.

Sorting Volunteers
Assist in the sorting, preparation and presentation of goods donated for sale.

Steaming volunteers
Use steaming process to help prepare donated clothes and fabric items for sale on the shop floor.

Bric-a-brac volunteers
Assist in the sorting, preparation and presentation of small objects and ornaments donated for sale. Assist in the sorting, preparation, pricing and research of glass, crockery, ornaments and collective memorabilia. Displaying and merchandising stock.

PAT testing electrical goods volunteers
Assist in the sorting, preparation and presentation of electrical goods donated for sale in including testing for their safety.

Drivers, and driver support volunteers
Assist with the daily transfer of stock between shops.
