Book Sorting

Our shops are vital to raising funds for Dorothy House and our volunteers are vital to the shops.  The Retail team are looking for friendly volunteers with an interest in books to join the team at our new Wicker Hill site in Trowbridge.  This site is home to one of our newest shops as well as our innovative Resorting Centre – a new initiative which is helping us to raise even more money from donated goods. 

So if you know your Jack Kerouac from your JK Rowling then why not consider being our new Book Sorter?  As well as sorting, duties will include pricing, researching and helping with our on line shop. Good communication skills are essential.

•    Applications are welcomed from all sections of the community
•    Regular supervision and support will be provided
•    Travel expenses are paid
•    Full training given
