Time To Give

Companions

Volunteer Companions needed to provide emotional and practical support to people in their last year of life.

Companions visit patients in their own homes and help them with the little things that make a big difference. This could involve going for walks, shopping, light household duties, gardening or simply having a chat.

Applications are welcomed from all sections of the community (we particularly need more men!)
Minimum commitment is 3 hours per week (including travel time)
Travel expenses will be paid
Full training will be given
Regular supervision and support will be provided
