Children and Young People's Service

At Dorothy House our Children and Young People’s practitioners help children and young people to cope with the illness and death of a relative.

This help can be provided before and/or after a family member has died.

The team consists of two play therapists and social workers who care for the children/young people of Dorothy House patients.

The team will always actively seek family permission (in writing) to approach children of our patients and the first visit will always be with a family member present.
