Social Worker

The social workers offer advice, practical help and emotional support with planning care for patients and with helping families and carers to adjust to their situation.

They meet with carers and families of patients to ensure they get the appropriate help.

They can also provide benefits advice as required and frequently liaise with statutory social service departments on behalf of patients, carers and families.

They work alongside all Dorothy House  teams and are involved in care for individuals and groups of people.
